Hello. My name is Allen Keckonen, welcome to LowWorld//
If you are here from the NFT space I am @FredChristNFT on Twitter and @FredChrist#5941 on Discord.
This project will be how I run any upcoming PhotoNFT (or traditional photo) projects from here on out. LowWorld// started as a proposed series of short stories which were developing over the years but fell to the side as a project because life got in the way and more important projects took center stage. Now LowWorld// collections will be the primary creative project I release for the time being. The short story aspect will be incorporated a few projects in.
The project will be a series of releases, as NFT Collections. Each of these series will likely have a charity attached, but that will be fluid per collection and all updates will be open and transparent. Roadmaps for each project will be presented. There will be a Discord I use for people affiliated with the project but it is unclear if I will have a public one as of yet.
I’ve even got some physical collectible ideas to go along with future projects, so stay tuned!
Who am I?
I am a Photographer/Writer/Designer based in San Antonio, Texas. The bulk of my photo work has been contracted (weddings, events, portraits, and can be seen here. My personal work can at least partially be seen there in terms of model work and such but any further creative releases will be collected here from where they currently exist around the web. Google my name, there is little bits everywhere. I will gradually collect stuff here too so you don’t have to look everywhere else.
My writing (as well as some editing and production work) was primarily for Voices of Art Magazine, which is now defunct and the site has died so I will try to scan my hard copies into the site for reference later. I mostly wrote on the South Texas Art scene, cultural commentary, museum concerns, some political issues related to the art world, music, etc. I was out there but by no means a popular name. I also wrote extensively for a website called Examiner where I also wrote for art related concerns and Security/Loss Prevention quite a bit as well. I’m all over the place.
My design has been for print/web mostly, with some advertisement (and ad copy) but really that’s all unrelated to any future work and aside from the Voices of Art stuff I will collect is mostly club flyers and menus anyway so who needs to see those?
Well I also dabble in Helium Mining and Planetwatch projects. That business is just starting and is not quite established yet and it’s just a side project. Hit me up for that if you are bored too!
